New Funding for North West Johnes Control Program

Devon Cows Funding is now available for farmers and vets to control and protect herds against Johne's disease in the North West of England ( Cheshire, Lancs. Cumbria, Merseyside and Greater Manchester)

The program will help fund veterinary and consultant led health planning projects. The farm priorities are assessed and if Johnes is identified as a health priority a control and protection plan can be installed. Myhealthyherd is used as the tool to help deliver the program

 

The program is administered by the Scottish Agricultural Colleges. Farmers can join by

  • contacting their vet or
  •  by visiting the Livestock North West website or
